Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Fischer Medical Supply follows all state and FDA guidelines. All sales within the United States must be accompanied by a prescription from a referring medical professional.
What does using The Fischer iontophoresis device feel like?
Iontophoresis is known to cause a tingling sensation. The treatment should never be painful. Higher milliamperes do not result in better results for hyperhidrosis patients. Contact the Treatment Specialist assigned to you for more information and recommendations on your treatment plan.
How much does The Fischer cost?
The Fischer: Underarms is available out-of-pocket for $675. The Fischer: Hands & Feet is available out-of-pocket for $975. We do not work with insurance companies but do have partners we can refer you to. We offer 3, 6, and 12-month payment plans with payments starting at just $59.

If you’re based in the U.S., your doctor will need to write a prescription. Prescriptions can be emailed to rx@fischermedicalsupply.com, or faxed to our secure line at (818) 775-2941.
Do you offer monthly payment plans or financing?
Yes, through our financing partner Affirm. Patients can choose between ‘Pay in 4’, 6, 12, and 18-month payment plans.* Qualify for 0% APR in less than 5-minutes. You will be sent loan confirmation and payment reminders via email and text.

It’s important to note that Affirm’s prequalifying process does not affect your credit score. Affirm runs a “soft credit check” to help verify your identity and determine your eligibility. This will not affect your score.
Do your products come backed by a warranty?
Yes, depending on the product and manufacturer. The Fischer is backed by a 4-Year Warranty covering any manufacturer defects. Guarantees do not cover general wear and tear that may occur over time while using durable medical equipment. Please consult instructions for the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance and shelf-lives.
Is there a Money Back Guarantee?
Yes, we offer a range of Money Back Guarantees (minus shipping). Once we receive your return, equipment is subject to inspection. Please allow up to 10-15 business days for us to process your refund.

Will my insurance cover my purchase?

Our Treatment Specialists can review your coverage options and assist with referring you to an in-network provider. We can also provide you with documentation and helpful resources for patients seeking reimbursement.
How do you ship?
We ship via UPS and USPS. Expedited shipping options are available upon request. Shipping is discrete and next day when necessary!
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship globally via USPS Global services. However, expedited shipping options may be available in select countries. International shipping costs do NOT include any fees or taxes that may be incurred by customs at the point of arrival.
How long does shipping take?
On average, we ship the same day or next day, and delivery takes between 3-5 business days depending on where you live. Shipping time for international orders may vary.
Are customs fees and taxes included in shipping for international orders?
No, customs fees and taxes are not included in shipping costs. Taxes and fees are dependent on the country of delivery and are the responsibility of the patient.
